Classic Skis vs Skate Skis - What is the Difference?
Classic Skis are best for beginners because their technique is similar to walking. They can be used in fresh snow or on groomed trails. Most people prefer these skis because they are ideal for a leisurely pace with friends or family. Classic Skis can also be used at a high level for intense workouts if you push yourself to move fast.
Skate Skis are more advanced. They require a strong sense of balance and a technique similar to ice skating. Ideal on groomed trails over 2 meters in width. Using Skate Skis is almost always a workout.

Can I rent skis only?
Yes, we rent single items if convenient to you. Please talk to a staff member in store for assistance or write us a note in the "special requests" field when you reserve online.
